Blast Office includes a powerful document editor built on Tiptap, with AI assistance for writing, formatting, and content generation.

Creating a New Document

  1. Click New Document from the sidebar or use the keyboard shortcut
  2. Give your document a title
  3. Start typing in the editor

Using the Text Editor

The Tiptap-based editor supports rich text formatting:

  • Bold, italic, and strikethrough text
  • Headings (H1 through H6)
  • Ordered and unordered lists
  • Code blocks with syntax highlighting

Deep Research from the Web

The Deep Research feature in Blast Office allows you to conduct comprehensive web research on any topic. A central research agent coordinates specialized workers to gather, analyze, and synthesize information.

How It Works

When you initiate a deep research task:

  1. Central Agent: A coordinating agent breaks your research question into sub-topics
  2. Research Workers: Specialized workers search the web for information on each sub-topic
  3. Synthesis: The central agent collects findings from all workers and synthesizes them into a coherent report
  4. Citations: All sources are cited with links to the original material

Starting a Deep Research Task

  1. Open a new Chat session
  2. Describe your research topic in detail
  3. The AI will recognize the research intent and activate the deep research agent
