Blast Office brings the power of large language models into a seamless desktop productivity suite. We believe AI should be an everyday tool — accessible, practical, and integrated into the workflows people already use.

Design Philosophy

Blast Office is built on several core principles:

• Local-first: Your data stays on your device by default. You control what gets shared.
• Private: Your data is never used to train AI models — because we don't train models. There is no telemetry harvesting or silent data collection.
• Intent-driven: Interact with AI naturally. Describe what you want, and the system figures out how to do it.
• Integrated: Documents, chat, data analysis, and presentations work together in one application — no need to switch between tools.
• Configurable: From logging to permissions to inference providers, every aspect of the system can be tailored to your needs.

Architecture

Blast Office uses a three-tier architecture:

• Desktop Application: The main productivity suite that runs on your computer, providing document editing, AI chat, data analysis, and presentations.
• Server: Handles authentication, token billing, and proxies inference requests to AI providers. Configurable logging and content safety filters run at this layer.
• Web Application: A companion web app for account management, subscription billing, and data export.
